On the morning of April 6, in a Shanghai metro station, a police dog was being reprimanded by its trainer for socializing with passengers. One bystanding netizen took a photo and posted it on his Weibo. In the picture, the police dog appears to be obediently and abashedly listening to its trainer.

The post was soon shared by many people. "This police dog is so lovely!" commented a number of netizens. 

Later, the official Weibo of the police dog detachment responded to the post. Assuming the role of the police dog, the post read: "Hello everyone! My name is Jess. I am the dog in the photo. Today I was a little naughty while on duty. I will try to be more serious about my job and not let you down in the future."
