On April 2, 2016, a group of special guests came in Hanfu clothing, to the Ancient Longzhong Scenic Area in Xiangyang, giving tourists who happened to come for a sightseeing trip a brilliant Guzheng (a traditional Chinese musical instrument) performance that took them on a journey through time to ancient times.
And a thousand performers will show up for a Guzheng concert at the end of the same month.
Xiangyang is the place where the Three Kingdoms culture originated. To inherit and advocate the Three Kingdoms culture and capitalize on it as a valuable history resource, the Guzheng Branch of the Association of Musicians of Xiangyang and Longzhong Culture Park Investment Co., Ltd. have planned to invite a thousand Guzheng players to give a concert at the Ancient Longzhong Scenic Area, with a view to carrying on and promoting Chinese traditional art, building up Xiangyang's reputation as a great city and inheriting the Three Kingdoms culture.
