A four-year-old girl was spotted hanging halfway off the balcony of an apartment on the sixth floor in Wuxi city, in east China's Zhejiang province on May 30, 2016. The residents nearby called the police immediately.
The policemen in the local police station came to scene as soon as possible. One policeman rapidly climbed six flights of stairs and another policeman made emergency preparations downstairs. Meanwhile, the girl's maternal uncle arrived.
With a man in his thirties around her, the girl was already in a room of the apartment when the policemen and her uncle opened the door and went inside the apartment.
This man climbed along a downspout against an exterior wall when he saw the girl halfway outside of the balcony. After a while, he reached the sixth floor from which he was able to put the girl back into a room of the apartment. This anonymous man left without a word when other people were busy checking whether or not the girl was injured.
For the time being, the Wuxi Foundation for Justice and Courage is working on identifying this anonymous man and offering a reward to him.
It is said that this girl was left alone at home by her own parents as they have to leave home and go to work.
