
As the Gaokao or national college entrance exam is drawing near, famous theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking posted a message on his Weibo, the Chinese Twitter-like site, to wish Chinese students success.
The message reads "I want to wish you, the next generation of scientific minds, success in your academic endeavors."
The following is a screenshot of the post of the world-renowned British scientist, who has over 4 million fans on his Weibo account.

After reading this, internet users left messages saying "I felt the whole universe cheers for the students who will take the exam", "Thanks for the blessing" and "Fight for the Gaokao".
A total of 9.4 million Chinese students will sit for the 2016 national college entrance exam which falls on June 7 and June 8.
