Over 10,000 Chinese parents gathered at the gate of Maotanchang high school in east ??China?'s Anhui province on Sunday, holding little red flags and banners cheering for students on 19 coaches heading to college entrance exam.

The Maotanchang high school located in east China's Anhui province has been renowned for being "Asia's largest Gaokao factory", namely it trains students to succeed in China's college entrance exams.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of parents from all across China came to the small town where the high school locates with their kids, only to hope their children will get a better score and hence get in to a better university after a year's hard training in how to do better in exams.

For a lot of Chinese students and their parents, the college entrance exam is the one and only life-changing hope. Lots of parents would choose to quit their job for a year and stay near the Maotanchang high school to take care of their kids.
