
KUALA LUMUR, June 13 -- Malaysia's foreign minister Anifah Aman will attend a special ASEAN-China foreign ministers' meeting on Tuesday in southwest China's Yunnan Province.
Malaysia's foreign ministry made the announcement in a statement on Monday.
The foreign ministry said the special meeting is a proactive effort by ASEAN to further elevate relations with China.
Malaysia's participation will also contribute to improving relations between Malaysia and China as well as reap potential benefits from various fields of cooperation, it added.
