Cheng Tangming, deputy chief designer of the rocket, told Xinhua on Friday that after the rocket reached the launch pad, all tests have been smooth.
Staff have finished testing the rocket's hermeticity and power systems, Cheng said. Checks on the measurement and control systems will also be carried out to ensure the proper operation of its electrical systems.
