The first major storm of this year's typhoon season appears to be making its way toward China.
Nepartak is currently swirling in the southern Pacific near Fiji.
Tracking models are suggesting the storm is going to pick up power and speed as it tracks toward Taiwan.
It's expected to gain Super Typhoon status as it makes its way over Taiwan sometime on Friday before continuing on to the mainland.
On top of heavy winds, the storm is also likely to dump significant amounts of rain on China's east coast, including the provinces of Anhui and Hubei, which are already dealing with significant flooding.
