Kazakhstan's rider Yevgeniy Gidich won the blue jersey as the best Asian rider. Mauricio Ortega Ramirez from Rts-Santic Racing Team grabbed the polka-dot jersey as the best climber.
Ukraine's rider Vitaliy Buts from Kolss-BDC Team (KLS) kept his yellow and green jerseys, which represent leader of general individual classification and best sprinter respectively.
This stage started at Xihaizhen and finished at Qilian, covering a total distance of 207 kilometers.
