BEIJING -- A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official on Saturday called on Party officials to study the important speech that General Secretary Xi Jinping gave on the 95th founding anniversary of CPC on July 1.
Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a meeting on the CPC's campaign to instill Party doctrines and values in members.
Liu urged CPC members to incorporate Xi's speech in their education campaign and apply its principles in their daily work.
The education campaign, pushing CPC members to study the CPC Constitution and rules, should be incorporated in daily work and life of CPC members, he said.
Party departments should make sure the education campaign to include and benefit every CPC member, he said.
As a priority of the campaign, the Party leadership is working to improve the management of Party organs and training of officials in poverty-stricken regions, Liu said.
He also urged CPC members in the flood-hit regions to take the lead in disaster rescue and relief.
