
BEIJING, Oct. 25 -- Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour will pay an official visit to China from Oct. 27 to 31, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
Ghandour will hold talks with Wang and attend seminars with scholars from various Chinese think tanks, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang at a daily press briefing Tuesday.
The Chinese side looks forward to discussing bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues of common concern; consolidating consensus and cooperation; and encouraging the sustained and stable development of China-Sudan relations, Lu said.
He also said that China attaches importance to relations with Sudan and was ready to further enhance bilateral exchanges across all areas.
