
BEIJING, Oct. 27 -- Two new members have been added to the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee to fill vacancies, according to a communique released Thursday after the sixth plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
The two new members, Zhao Xiangeng and Xian Hui, were formerly alternate members of the CPC Central Committee.
The plenary session, held in Beijing from Monday to Thursday, made the decision according to provisions of the CPC constitution.
