On December 22, during the serial press conference of Three-Year Action Plan of Improving People’s Livelihood, Deputy Director General Fu Rui of Xiangyang Municipal Environmental Protection Agency told that from January to November 2016, the number of days for good air quality in the city was 235, which was 41 days more than the same time last year. The satisfactory rate reached 70.4%. The mean value of cumulative concentration of PM10 was 87ug/m3, with a drop of 18.7% compared to the same time last year. The mean value of cumulative concentration of PM2.5 was 58ug/m3, with a drop of 20.5% compared to the same time last year.
