On the morning of December 28, Hubei Meiyang Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. formally went into operation, with the first new energy automobile driving down the assembly line. The newly appointed Xiangyang Municipal Party Secretary Ren Zhenhe said during investigation and survey on the project site that the company should see the production project of finished automobiles as an opportunity, strengthen to attract investment in whole industrial chain, quicken the layout of whole industrial chain, and assist Xiangyang in quickening the construction of Xiangyang into a new energy automobile capital.

Hubei Meiyang Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. is the first new energy automobile manufacturer in our city and the first private enterprise that produces finished automobiles. It only took less than ten months from starting construction in March for this project to the first new energy automobile driving down the assembly line.
