On January 17, Zhu Hui, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xiangyang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Xiangyang, visited the Xiangyang Development and Reform Commission for a survey on Xiangyang's development and reform. According to sources, the commission will keep a close watch on 1,004 projects with a respective investment of over RMB100 million and strive to complete a planned annual investment of RMB237 billion.

This year, Xiangyang will make all-out efforts to promote the commencement of projects such as Great Health Industry Park, ensure that DongFeng Iseki Xiangyang Plant and other projects go into production, intensify the ecological construction of the Hanjiang River, coordinate and support the construction of "China Organic Valley", and solidly implement the early work of railway-side power plant construction and other projects.
