BEIJING, March 20 (Xinhua) -- The organizing committee for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games opened its first worldwide staff recruitment here on Monday.
A total of 22 staff members will be recruited for 21 positions, including 11 staff members to be recruited worldwide for 10 positions. Positions in this recruitment involve majors in planning and construction, venue management, marketing, media, finance, law and foreign languages.
The Beijing organizing committee is responsible for organizing and coordinating the preparations and staging of Beijing 2022. Currently the committee has nine internal departments, two operational centers and some 170 staff members.
In order to build a team of professional and internationalized personnel, Beijing 2022 will continue the worldwide recruitment in the future.
The recruitment procedures include online application and first qualification review (March 20-31), examination and evaluation (mid April - late May).
The persons to be employed are determined according to their combined examination results, working experiences, position matching degree and the results of background record review. The applicants may log on the recruitment page of Beijing 2022 website for information.
Beijing 2022 will also establish a talent pool. Those who have the intention to participate in the work of Beijing 2022, but do not meet the qualifications for the positions recruited this time may log on the recruitment page to apply for their inclusion in the talent pool.
