A dog with lower-limb paralysis in Baoji, Shaanxi province has regained the ability to walk and run after being given a special wheeled device.
The dog, named Lele, is 4 years old. It was diagnosed with lumbar disc herniation in December, which prevented it from standing up and walking. Its owner, Li Jun, visited almost every vet in the city, but no one was able to find a cure. The dog's backside even developed bedsores because it was unable to stand up and move.
As a result, Li ordered a custom wheelchair for the dog, and Lele is finally able to run again. These days, Li and Lele go for walks almost every day, and Lele has been hailed as an exceptional, brave dog.
