
HANOI, April 13 -- A Chinese team will compete in the Vietnam's central Da Nang International Firework Festival 2017 (DIFF 2017), announced Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
Accordingly, the DIFF 2017, the eighth of its kind in Da Nang, will be held from April 30 to June 24, 2017, gathering the world's leading fireworks teams.
Teams from eight countries including Australia, Austria, China, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Britain and the host team Da Nang-Viet Nam will compete for DIFF2017 championship with the theme "Shining with Marble Mountains".
The DIFF2017 will have five contest nights named after the five elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. Teams from China and Britain will shine on May 27, said the department.
In addition to fireworks displays, artist troupes from the nations will also perform in DIFF2017's supportive events including Street Festival, Food Festival and other art performances.
Joining this festival, visitors will have a chance to enjoy fireworks displays, events of light and music performed by the world's leading technologies, said the department.
