An 84-year-old man from Chengdu, Sichuan province has been working out for 10 years, building a muscular physique that even young people envy.
Zheng Lunfa gets up at 5:30 a.m. every morning. An hour later, he runs around the lake near his house to warm up for his strength training routine, which is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. This has been his routine for a decade. In that time, the only occasions that have caused Zheng to skip his workout are Chinese New Year and extreme weather.

Zheng's body normally keeps itself warm, which he attributes to his years of training. Even in winter, a fleece and leather jacket are enough for him. In addition, his healthy routine has provided him with a strong, healthy body that rarely gets sick.
Seven years ago, Zheng fell in love with belly-dancing, and he has become proficient in a short period of time. His belly-dancing performances have made him a star in the neighborhood park, and even gained him some celebrity further afield. In addition to local and regional TV stations, he was interviewed by the New York Times two years ago. Zheng used to suffer from sciatica, but he says he feels no pain when he dances to the music.
“Fitness fulfills my life, and I will keep exercising as long as my body permits me to,”he added.
