

The official website of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (http://www.beltandroadforum.org/) was officially made active on April 25. The website is hosted by the secretariat of the organizing committee of the forum, with assistance from the People's Daily Online.
As an authoritative outlet for information related to the forum, the site offers information in both Chinese and English about relevant news, meetings, references, media and services. In addition, official WeChat and Facebook accounts (@beltandroadforum) have been opened for the forum simultaneously.
The Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation will be held in Beijing on May 14 and 15. It is a key diplomatic event for China in 2017. Twenty-eight heads of state and government leaders have confirmed their attendance, and more than 1,200 representatives will participate in the event.
