Xiangyang received a total of 2.597 million tourists from April 29 to May 1 and achieved total revenues of 1.62 billion yuan, up 17.2 percent and 16.5 percent year on year respectively. According to data of tourist reception in a couple of scenic zones under key monitoring during the May Day holiday, Tang City, Baokang Wudaoxia, Longzhong and Nanzhang Shuijingzhuang received 63,000, 42,600, 32,000 and 15,100 tourists, up 27 percent, 40 percent, 10 percent and 22.7 percent year on year respectively.
