Sun Jiwen, Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesman, said China and the US are discussing the outcome of their "100-day Plan" and that additional pragmatic achievements are expected.

He said early outcomes have been achieved in many areas, including agricultural trade, investment, energy and financial services. Officials from both countries reached agreement on details concerning US beef exports to China.

"The US Ministry of Agriculture has carried out the indispensable domestic procedures. In order to achieve the goal of exporting US beef to China, import and export enterprises from the two countries are actively cooperating with each other. I believe that we will see fruitful achievements soon,” said Sun.
