In August 2016, Hangzhou Hip-hop Color Painting Team was invited to create color paintings in Lijia Ranfang Village, Xianrendu Town, Laohekou, Xiangyang.

These paintings are made through hand drawing. They not only include the technique of printing and dyeing and paintings of historical legends, which embodied local characteristics but also include southern wooden New Year pictures and modern figure paintings, which represent Laohekou’s local characteristics. All paintings are incorporated with Chinese elements.

Lijia Ranfang Village has now become an elaborately made “gallery” with local characteristics.
