On June 16, a journalist took an aerial photo of terraced fields of organic vegetables in Hezuo Village, Xiema Town, Baokang County.
Xiema Town is located in a cold highland area in Baokang County, Xiangyang. In order to increase temperature, conserve water, and retain fertilizers, local peasants neatly cover the vegetables with mulching films. These mulching films wind their ways on the terraced fields, looking like “fingerprints” of Earth.
