Reminiscing about life in the countryside, Han Yuanhui and his wife Mei Mei, rented a house in the suburbs of Chengdu, capital city of southwest China’s Sichuan province. Now, the family is witnessing joyful moments in their lives because of the new home.
After renting the property on a 10-year-lease at the beginning of the year, the couple gave the two-storey home thorough renovation, especially the courtyard covering over 200 square meters.

They grew more than 100 kinds of flowers and grass in the yard and laid a stone pathway in the middle of the plants so that their baby boy could get more intimate with nature. They even drove 120 kilometers to buy grass seeds!
The family moved into the new house on June 30. To their surprise, their two-and-half-year-old baby became more independent, outgoing and now eats on his own. The couple plan to take him for a visit to the west of the province in the coming months.
