On July 12, the State Council released the list of new national natural reserves. Xiangyang Wudao Canyon Natural Reserve is among 17 national natural reserves.
Located in the main range of Jingshan Mountains in Baokang County, Wudao Canyon Natural Reserve is the most representative natural reserve in Jingshan Mountains, a major species gene pool in northwestern Hubei, as well as an important part of Dabashan Natural Reserve Colony.
