China's wedding photo industry is hugely lucrative, with couples spending anything from 15 to 25 percent of their wedding budget on the perfect photos.
According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, the industry was worth 11.7 billion US dollars in 2014 and is continuing to grow as couples have increasingly ambitious ideas for their wedding snaps.
Shoots often take place well in advance of the big day and can involve multiple costume changes, hair and makeup stylists and even elaborate backdrops.
A growing number of Chinese couples are even choosing to jet abroad for their sake of a memorable album with European icons like London’s Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower in Paris among the most popular destinations.
One quirky couple even made a splash by shooting their wedding pictures underwater!
