At 6:00 a.m. on August 3, 35 Xiangyang citizens were learning how to swim from a coach for free by the Hanjiang River.

This is the third edition of voluntary swimming training class by the Hanjiang River held by swimming lovers in Xiangyang.

Three years ago, Han Jicheng, a swimming lover, invited professional coaches to give swimming lessons free of charge by the Hanjiang River because he knew many citizens could not swim. The move was extensively supported by Xiangyang winter swimming experts who acted as assistant coaches and rescuers.
