The 1st Xiangyang Marathon will begin on October 29. On September 17, Qin Jun, Deputy Secretary of Xiangyang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Xiangyang City, took over the city flag of “Run to China” at the closing ceremony of Beijing Marathon, which marked that 2017 Run to China Marathon series officially entered “Xiangyang time.”
“Run to China” is a brand marathon series jointly hosted by Chinese Athletics Association and CCTV. The 1st Xiangyang Marathon will be a key stop for the marathon series.
