The Moon Bay Park was open to visitors again on October 30.
The park is located in the western suburb in Xiangyang and close to Hanjiang River, covering an area of 1,650-mu. It has become an ideal place for citizens to appreciate modern garden feature, idyllic scenery and natural wildness.
At the end of September, the water level of the Hanjiang River rose due to the flood discharge of Danjiangkou Reservoir. The sand beach, tourist routes and wooden walkways close to the Hanjiang River were inundated. The park was temporarily closed for tourists’ safety.
