HARARE, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe will chair a routine cabinet meeting at State House Tuesday, the same day his party moves a motion to impeach him in parliament.

The state broadcaster ZBC reported Monday that the chief secretary to the president and cabinet was inviting all members of cabinet to attend the meeting.

The cabinet meetings are normally held at Munhumutapa Building, the seat of government.

Meanwhile, the majority of ZANU-PF members of parliament on Monday endorsed the party's decision to impeach Mugabe after he missed the party's deadline to resign by Monday noon.

The party's 230 out of 260 members of parliament had endorsed Mugabe's impeachment, said party spokesperson Simon Khaya Moyo.

The party would move the impeachment motion Tuesday when parliament seats.

The party charges Mugabe with allowing his wife Grace to usurp constitutional power as well as his violation of party constitution and advanced age for impeachment.
