



Los Angeles (People's Daily) -- Six wildfires continue to burn in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, including Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Diego, on December 11, 2017.
The total scorched terrain is bigger than New York City and Boston combined. During the fires, hundreds of schools were closed and 230,000 residents were forced to evacuate their homes.
