At 8:30 A.M. December 13, a group of mothers who had just taken their kids to schools started to practice Tai Chi.
They are ordinary housewives in Xiangyang aged between 30 and 45. Most of them have two kids.
Liu Yanli, a coach at Xiangyang Wushu Team, has taught these women Tai Chi since two years ago. She, who took up martial arts at the age of 8, claimed the cudgel title in the 19th Hubei Provincial Games. When being asked the reason for teaching them, she said, "I just want to help build up their bodies and popularize Wushu."
