The ship Changping carrying 13 mariners was bumped by the ship Xinwang 138 near Wusong port in Shanghai. It sank shortly after the crash on Tuesday night.
Three of its sailors were saved while the other 10 are still missing.

Shanghai marine authorities sent 13 patrol vessels and one helicopter to search and rescue. Six vessels were dispatched to search the rolled steel carried by Changping.
