China supports the DPRK and the ROK's positive moves to improve their relations and hopes that the international community can give their support, said Lu Kang, spokesperson of China's Foreign Ministry on Monday.
Lu made the remarks when making a comment on the news that the two Koreas will hold a high-level talk in Panmunjom on Tuesday.
Lu said China hopes the two Koreas can work together to find a viable path to ease tensions, enhance mutual trust and resume dialogue.
Being a neighbor of the two nations, China has all along been making relentless efforts to resolve the Korean Peninsula issue and played a positive and constructive role.
China will continue to pay close attention to the situations on the Peninsula, work on various parties and promote peace talks, Lu said.
