Bangkok (People's Daily)- The "ASEAN headlines" electronic information platform for the transnational Internet project in Cambodia was launched online in Cambodia on Tuesday.
The platform was created by Zhongxinwenchuang, a Chinese network media company in South China’s Guangxi Province and operated by Cambodia Headline Media Technology Company, under the guidance of the Guangxi branch of the China National News Agency.
Zuo Wenxing, representative of the Chinese embassy to Cambodia, said that Chinese media going abroad is a reflection of a closer connection between China and the world and an expression of China’s increasing international communication reach.
Cambodia launched the "ASEAN Headlines" project because of the stable political and economic cooperation between the two sides and the sound foundation for developing mobile Internet services in the country.
The "ASEAN headlines" has Khmer language and Chinese language versions.
The platform will be gradually integrated into the future. Users are able to download this app from Apple and Google Play.
