A magnitude 5.9 earth quake hit the mid-village of Bingbang, Tongguan Town, Mojiang County, Pu’er City at 10:31:29 pm, September 8, 2018. The focal depth is 11 kilometer, and the epicenter is 24 kilometers away from the town center of Mojiang County. The Mojiang People’s Government launched a third-grade emergency response, requesting related departments to carry out the earthquake relief work in a prompt manner.
