On Jan. 21, Tencent Beacon and Miaozhen Systems released the 2018 White Paper on Anti-Ad-Fraud, in a bid to help prevent ad fraud and build a healthy, open ecosystem for China's digital marketing industry.
Miaozhen Systems is China’s leading data technology solution provider, involved in helping enterprises win a share of the market. Tencent Beacon teamed up with Miaozhen Systems two years ago to issue white papers on combating ad fraud.
The recently released white paper says the growth of fraud economy was efficiently controlled in 2018, remaining at 15 percent since 2017.
However, the white paper noted that more sophisticated technology was now being implemented in fraud circles. This more complicated fraud economy has posed more significant challenges for those attempting to combat fraud within the industry.
In the white paper, Tencent Beacon proposes an AI-based real-time anti-fraud solution called the “Beacon Intelligent Anti-fraud Engine,” to fight against the “evolving” underground fraud economy effectively.
Leaders from both Tencent Beacon and Miaozhen Systems have said that winning the war against ad fraud requires the collective efforts of all parties involved.
The two companies will get together with more industry partners to fight against ad fraud and other illegal online activities, in a bid to create a healthier and more standardized advertising ecosystem for all industries.
