
PARIS, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Individual match tickets for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France will go on sale to the general public on March 7, FIFA and the local organizing committee announced on Friday.
Individual ticket prices will start at 9 euros for all group matches except the opening match between France and South Korea at the Parc des Princes in Paris on June 7, where prices will start at 13 euros.
The tournament will take place across nine cities in France from June 7 to July 7, and feature 24 teams contesting 52 matches.
The final will be held in Lyon, with prices ranging from 23 to 84 euros.
330,000 tickets have been sold less than four months after the launch of ticket packages, according to FIFA. The main buyers of tickets have been French (57 percent of sales), followed by supporters from the United States (25 percent) and Britain (3 percent).
Lyon (90,000), Paris (76,000) and Valenciennes (34,500) have sold the most seats so far, with a total of 1.3 million tickets available for the competition.
