As of December 28, 2018, the Xiangyang City Charity Federation accepted a total of more than 29 million yuan of charitable items, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%, including more than 19 million yuan in donations and more than 10 million yuan of items.
In 2018, the Xiangyang City Charity Federation issued a total of more than 1 million charitable aids for 202 families with major diseases. The value of medicines for special needed patients was about 6.75 million yuan, and the rescue expenditure was more than 13 million yuan. The above donations benefited 140,000 people.
