
BEIJING, March 7 (Xinhua) -- Following is the schedule for the second session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) on Friday.
-- At 10 a.m., Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will meet the press at the media center of the NPC annual session, where he will answer questions on China's foreign policy and relations.
-- In the morning, the NPC deputies will hold panel meetings to examine the report on the execution of the central and local budgets for 2018 and the draft plan of central and local budgets for 2019.
The NPC Financial and Economic Committee will examine the budget report and the report on the implementation of the 2018 plan for national economic and social development and the 2019 draft plan for national economic and social development, before reporting on the review results of the two reports.
-- At 3 p.m., the NPC deputies will hold a plenary meeting at the Great Hall of the People to hear a report on the NPC Standing Committee's work to be delivered by Li Zhanshu, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, and an explanation on the draft foreign investment law to be made by Wang Chen, vice chairperson of the NPC Standing Committee.
