
China's Ministry of National Defense announced on Thursday that celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the founding of Chinese Navy will be held in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, in late April.

The announcement was made at a monthly routine press conference.
So far, delegations from 60 countries and naval vessels from multiple countries have confirmed their attendance for the grand ceremony. High-level seminars, international fleet reviews and joint military-music events will be held as well.
