BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhua) -- China called on Japan to provide fair, transparent and predictable business environment for Chinese enterprises, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said here Friday.
It has been reported that the Japanese government will officially announce the 5G network spectrum allocation plan, and Japanese operators will decide whether to cooperate with Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE.
Spokesperson Geng Shuang told a news briefing that China always advocates free trade, abides by international rules, and opposes political interference in normal business operations.
"We will pay close attention to the results of the Japanese government's 5G network spectrum allocation, and hope Japan will abide by its commitment to free trade and provide a fair, transparent and predictable business environment for Chinese companies," he said.
