The Entry-Exit Management Department of Simao Public Security Bureau of Pu’er City launched a self-service terminal for entry-exit application on April 12. Previously in October 2018, the department had launched two other passport-supported self-service terminals for giving out exit-entry travelling permits to people coming from and going to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Pu’er residents can obtain the entry-exit documents using the terminals.
This self-service terminal is first such machine to be used for entry-exit management in Yunnan Province. It has enabled Pu’er residents to complete entry-exit application by themselves.
