
BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- China has launched an event to collect cartoons and short videos on the country's rule of law, according to a circular released by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and three other authorities.
As the 16th event of its kind, the collection will go from late May to Oct. 20 this year.
The cartoons and short videos submitted should center on any of the topics including the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the major achievements China has made in its rule of law, and the laws and regulations closely related to people's daily lives, the circular reads.
The works should also promote socialist core values and positive energy with wholesome and inspiring content, according to the circular.
After the collection ends, experts will evaluate the works and select which are the best. The results of the evaluation will be made public on the website of the Legal Daily, and the best works will be displayed on media outlets, the circular reads.
