To celebrate the 22nd anniversary return of Hong Kong, People's Liberation Army Hong Kong Garrison opened Ngong Shuen Chau Naval Base from June 30 to July 1. The event not only included a flag-raising ceremony, military band performance, fighting technique and shooting performance, but also showed the military equipment of the Navy, land force and air force.

Since the return of Hong Kong to China, the PLA Hong Kong garrison has already held 31 open events. It not only enhanced Hong Kong citizens' understanding of the military through its carefully prepared performances and activities, but also allowed them to learn more about national defense.
