

The insurance coverage of natural rubber in Pu’er’s Ximeng County was expanded in 2019 to include large-scale farmers. The insurance now covers a total area of 68.6 square kilometers, effectively preventing rubber farmers from suffering at the hands of fluctuating rubber prices.
At present, Ximeng boasts natural rubber plantations stretching over 146.6 square kilometers, providing for 29,669 people, including 2,274 families with 7,864 people.
