NAPLES, Italy, July 7 (Xinhua) -- China swept both the men's and women's table tennis team golds at the 2019 Napoli Universiade here on Sunday.
In the women's team final, China beat Japan 3-1 to win the gold.
"Japan did a really good job today. I told my players that no matter who the opponent is, we should be confident," said China coach Zang Yuying.
In the men's team final, China defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0.
In the women's 3m synchronized, China's Leng Minghong/Chen Yi lost to Mexican duo Hernandez Monzon Dolores/Mendoza H. Carolina, grabbing a sliver with 288.60 points, 2.4 short of those for the first.

China finished sixth after losing 45-41 to Poland in the women's epee team quarterfinal.
"I didn't control the tempo well today. We fell behind from the very beginning, so I was in a rush trying to catch up the score," Chinese fencer Xu Nuo said after the game.
The U.S. women's basketball team upset China 87-79 to enter the final four. Zhang Yi scored the team high 22 points for China, followed by Song Kexin with 16 points.
