Chinese people’s lives have dramatically changed, and the society made huge progress since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 70 years ago. The International Department of CPC Central Committee recently produced a short video series Voices of World Political Party Leaders in four episodes.

In the second episode, Dr. Carmelo Bonnici, member of parliament of Malta and shadow minister for foreign affairs, travelled together with young leaders and members of Nationalist Party of Malta to Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province.

From the beautiful countryside to urban communities, from the West Lake to the Qiantang River, from Qinghefang Street to Alibaba Group, Dr. Carmelo Bonnici were deeply impressed by the vitality and passion of this city.
