
A total of 84 landmark buildings across China were lit up with red on Friday night as People’s Daily Online held a gorgeous lighting show in 48 cities of 26 provinces.

People’s Daily Online designed the large-scale light show, themed “Confess My Love to China” as a gift for the fast approaching 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

It was also a golden opportunity to showcase new achievements of urban development made by cities across China, granting people from all over the country a perfect occasion to express their love for their hometown and for motherland.
